I
still Remember Her
A/N:
This is a drabble I wrote on request of eowynangel.
It's a spin off of our collaboration 'The
Tale of Silversheen' which is still a work in progress.
---
I still
remember her.
I still
remember her standing in front of our house in Aldburg the day he
rode away. She waved him goodbye and stood there like a pillar of
white and silver. So very beautiful.
It
was almost as if she wanted to be a beacon for my father to come
home. She did not move. She stood there silently and serene, her
gown and hair moved in the wind like one of our banners.
That
is how I remember her, how I will always remember her.
Not
sickly like she died in her bed, but tall and beautiful like a silver
swan.
