To
the Fellowship you bound your destiny
Bow and arrows ready to face the last battle
Unlike your kin you think men are trustworthy
And follow Aragorn through many dangers
Even the Paths of the Dead can't make you give up
For you always keep hope for the others
And swear to help the quest of the Ring Bearer
A great sense of honour is within you
Legolas Tranduilion, Prince of Mirkwood
And even the Darkness can't bring you down
You promise to fight till the end and you would.
Gimli
is a dwarf and you befriend him however
Ignoring the dislike, the despise, the anger
With this strange companion you share every peril
And call him "mellon nîn," son of Thranduil
On Middle-earth since 3.000 years you wander
But the Grey Heavens will wait your arrival
Because a great friendship is here to prevail
And the day you'll hear the Call of the Sea
With him you'll reach the Undying Lands
Where you long to be.
